The Rock kicked off Friday Night SmackDown by encouraging fans to chant “STD” at King Corbin. It was a great time had by all (except Baron Corbin.) The Rock came home and he loved being a part of WWE once again.

After The Great One’s appearance, Cathy Kelley spoke to The Rock backstage at SmackDown. He said it always feels great to be home in WWE because there’s no place like home.
The Rock said he’s very proud of the company and the SmackDown show. He has a lot of joy about what is going on, but he’s also happy for the WWE Superstars. They have a big opportunity.
FOX is providing WWE with a huge platform for Superstars, “then I come around and take about fifteen minutes of airtime, anyway. Guys, it’s The Rock,” he said with a smile.
He said he was good to be back and then encouraged one more close-up shot before walking off.
