Chris Jericho is the current AEW World Champion, but he is still allowed to work for New Japan as well. Being one of the few All Elite Wrestling stars who can work for NJPW, YJ2 reportedly has a huge match set for Wrestle Kingdom 14.

Sports Illustrated reports that Jericho is slated to wrestle Hiroshi Tanahashi at Wrestle Kingdom 14. This would pay off the previous angle they shot during Jericho’s last NJPW appearance.

Wrestle Kingdom 14 will be a two-night event on January 4th and 5th 2020. It was not confirmed which night YJ2 would be competing.

Jon Moxley has stated that he would like to wrestle on both nights, but his match is a little unclear. It would make sense for Juice Robinson to get his hands on the former Dean Ambrose eventually to get his IWGP United States Title back.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
