Baron Corbin won the King Of The Ring tournament and now he is officially King Corbin. It appears that name is sticking around for the former Lone Wolf.

WWE has filed a trademark for the name “King Corbin.” They can use this name for any number of reasons that they see fit. So, if you’re not a fan of King Corbin’s royal gimmick, then the heat will probably do him a favor.

WWE registered the King Corbin name for:

“Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment”

Even though King Corbin’s throne crashed on him this week during Raw, his regal gimmick isn’t going anywhere.

All Hail King Corbin.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
