Kenny Omega took a big shot at the NXT roster when he called them developmental talent compared to AEW who will have real stars. This was certainly noticed by the entire NXT locker room.

Brad Shepard reports on the Oh, You Didn’t Know Patreon that Triple H and Matt Bloom addressed the NXT locker room about Kenny Omega’s statements. They were told to no-sell what The Cleaner said. Of course, it was a little bit too late as a couple of Superstars had already commented.

According to a source in WWE, Triple H and NXT Head Coach Matt Bloom have told talent to not respond to Kenny Omega (this is after a couple of talents took shots back, such as Dominik Dijakovic). The thought behind that is that they’ll see who the better brand is come October.

We’ll have to see how the Wednesday Night Wars continue to play out. Kenny Omega really seemed to ruffle some feathers with his comments, but Triple H also appeared to address those words in an interview as well.
