WWE is always on a mission to expand their influence and build the biggest roster possible. It looks like they’re very close to bringing in another big name that could capture the interest of a very valuable fan base.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that there is a “strong belief within the industry” that Jiro Kuroshio is headed to WWE. He is a very talented Japanese wrestler and highly regarded as “one of the best around.”

Kuroshio apparently said publicly that he will be moving to the United States and leaving Japan. This came after he was a part of a WWE tryout in Shanghai.

We’ll have to see how WWE will use him, but they now have a two hour NXT program on the USA Network that could always use more star power.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
