Former WWE Superstar Is Reportedly ‘Pretty Banged Up’

WWE isn’t the end of a career even after a Superstar leaves the company. Evan Bourne entertained millions of fans during his time with the company, but he’s been doing his own thing recently. Now all of those bumps might be catching up to him.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Matt Sydal isn’t working much nowadays because his “body is pretty banged up.” That won’t keep him from making a big match commitment in Israel.

Sydal will defend the IPWA Championship in Tel Aviv against Billy Gunn on December 15th. Hopefully, he will be able to use the time in between now and then to rest up and get his body in better shape.

During Matt Sydal’s time in WWE he held the WWE Tag Team Titles with Kofi Kingston. After suffering a motorcycle accident in 2012 he missed a year of action, but he returned briefly in 2013 before he was released from his contract in 2014.
