Seth Rollins is shown warming-up backstage and he’s interviewed by Charly Caruso, who reminds Seth that Braun blamed him for earlier. Seth says he doesn’t give a damn. They lost the titles together but he can’t focus on that, he has to think about the main event. He says he respects Braun, and he’s even consider him a friend. But tonight is not his night. He slayed a beast at SummerSlam and tonight he adds a monster to the collection.

(C) Seth Rollins Vs. Braun Strowman

The bell rings and Braun hits Seth with a huge shoulder tackle right out the gate. Seth backs into the corner and Braun hits an avalanche, then a second. Strowman looks for the Running Powerslam but Seth climbed off and attacked the back of Strowman’s leg. Seth kicks him a few times but then Braun catches his foot and flips him head over heels but Seth landed on his feet.

Seth kicks Braun in the gut a few times and heads to the top rope for a huge frog splash but Braun kicked out before the referee even got to his knees. Rollins looked for The Stomp but Braun grabbed him with both arms and slammed him into the mat. A big biel from Braun, followed by another, and Seth starts holding his ribs.

Braun connects with a headbutt, followed by an uppercut. He yells “c’mon Seth, you’re tougher than this!” Braun runs at Seth in the corner but nobody’s home and he hits the ring post. Seth takes to the apron and hits a springboard knee to the face, then hits a second and Braun falls to one knee. Seth goes up top and jumps again but this time Braun caught him and clubbed him down by the chest!

Rollins rolled to the outside and Braun ran around the ring to hit a huge shoulder tackle, before throwing Seth back inside. Rollins rolls the entire way back out of the ring and Braun runs around again for a shoulder tackle. Strowman tosses Seth into the barricade, then back into the ring but again Seth rolls out. Braun runs at him again but this time Seth sidesteps it and Strowman flies over the announce table.

Strowman starts to get to his feet, so Seth hits a suicide dive, then a second and this time the announce table collapses under Braun’s weight. Seth looked for a third but this time Strowman caught him. Strowman looked for the Running Powerslam but Seth climbed off and shoved him onto the Spanish announce table. Rollins climbed to the top rope, looking for the frog splash, but Braun gets up, climbs up top and and shoves him off. Strowman hits a splash to Seth, yes a splash, but Rollins kicks out!

Braun seems to have hurt his knee. Strowman grabs Seth for the Running Powerslam but this time Rollins reverses into a sleeper. Strowman shoves him off and Seth immediately hits The Stomp but Strowman kicks out at 1! Rollins can’t believe it. Rollins hits a second Stomp and again Braun kicks out. Seth hits The Stomp a third time and again Braun kicks out – the fans are booing. Rollins doesn’t know what to do, so he looks for a fourth Stomp but Braun gets him up for a Running Powerslam…but his knee gives out. Seth grabs Braun and hits a Pedigree, then a fourth Stomp for the win!

Winner: Seth Rollins

We see replays as Seth struggles to his feet and gets his Universal Championship. Rollins leaves up the ramp with the belt and that’s it….except it’s not. The lights go out in the arena and when they come back, The Fiend has Rollins on the stage! He hits Sister Abigail and the lights go back out. They come back up and we see The Fiend holding Seth by the hair, then he delivers the Mandible Claw to choke Seth out.

And that’s it for Clash of Champion’s. Seth retained the Universal Championship but The Fiend has stamped his marked as the next challenger. Tomorrow night on Raw the story continues. And we’ll see you then. Safe travels!
