WWE is launching the NXT brand on Wednesday nights on the USA Network starting on September 18th, but there’s a pretty scary rumor going around that could change everything.

Some fans have feared, and we previously reported via Dave Meltzer that Vince McMahon and Kevin Dunn could be getting heavily involved in NXT’s product. As Triple H discussed with Talk Sport, that is not the case at all.

“Let’s be honest, there’s a lot of things that people like Dave say don’t make sense. In simple terms, he won’t be involved.”

Vince McMahon is going to be very busy with the XFL to the point where he might not even have time for SmackDown anymore. You can never rule out Vince McMahon making a bold move and swooping in with a huge change, but right now Triple H doesn’t seem to be worried about interference from his father-in-law.
