Cody Rhodes Details Walking Out Of WWE

Cody Rhodes wasn’t happy with the way that WWE was booking him. They were giving him something to do, but it wasn’t what he wanted.

Rhodes revealed during his Starrcast III live show that he had a very blunt conversation with WWE about what he wanted there. He appreciates everything that WWE was able to give him, but he needed to go on and search out his own treasures in the pro wrestling world.

“I could break 1,000 thrones, I probably will, but I can never not appreciate what they did for me. I met Brandi there, I grew up there. It’s the house that built me. I took everything I could get and I let them know and we all know how that ended.”

“I let them know that there’s more to me than what you see and the only thing I can do is show you. You’re not letting me show you here. Mark Carrano said, ‘I’ll see ya next week.’ I said, ‘No you won’t.’ I never came back — I didn’t even sign my release papers which I think is illegal by the way, don’t tell anyone.”

Cody Rhodes is now doing the job that his famous father did at TNT. He also revealed that the strange part is that nobody is still around TNT who worked there while Dusty Rhodes ran WCW, except for one woman.
