The team of Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins has always been one close to the heart of many WWE fans, mainly due to their ability to overcome any and all obstacles that are put in their way.

Alas, while their reunion did lead to a big moment for the duo at WrestleMania 35, they’ve gradually been falling back down the pecking order of the tag team division on Monday Night RAW in the last few months.

They lost once again in Tag Team Turmoil last night, but instead of being down in the dumps, they looked towards the brighter side of life – which is the best thing they could really do in that scenario.

The pair told great tales about how they’re lucky to be in the position that they are, showcasing the kind of gratitude that makes them one of the most believable babyface teams in the company today.

However, with that being said, it still feels like just a matter of time until that turns into something a bit different. Why? Because WWE’s tendency to pull the trigger on tag teams breaking up has been well documented for years now.

We aren’t suggesting it’s definitely going to happen, but it is one thing that fans must prepare themselves for – because Vinnie Mac is a big advocate for that kind of storytelling.

One way or another we’re intrigued to see what the trajectory of this team is going to be like between now and next year’s WrestleMania in Tampa.
