Corey Graves Roasts Tom Phillips’ Commentary From SmackDown Live

Corey Graves has been spending some time away from the spotlight of WWE recently with his girlfriend Carmella, and that has led to something of a mixed response from the WWE Universe.

Some fans are happy to see others such as Vic Joseph being given an opportunity in the wake of his time off, whereas others are eager to see him return to the commentary table and do what he does best.

As we all know he plays a heel on WWE programming, and he is certainly making sure that he continues to live the gimmick on social media.

After taking a shot at Tom Phillips and the way in which he calls Shinsuke Nakamura’s Kinshasa move, he ensured that he would be back to take control of the call once again next week.

Graves is as divisive as they come in regards to WWE commentators and it’s been that way for quite some time now. He doesn’t really seem to mind all that much, though, and if anything, he thrives off of the attention it brings his character.

He’s doing great on both a personal and professional level, and for someone that saw his dream of becoming a pro wrestler end due to injury, it’s really nice to see.

Now all we’ve got to do is wait and see what kind of quick-witted remarks he’s going to come out with when the time comes for him to slate Tom Phillips on live television once again.
