The AEW World Championship match between Chris Jericho and Hangman Page is certainly going to be an intriguing one at All Out, and it’s almost definitely going to serve as the main event for the Chicago show.

Regardless of what may or may not happen in that match, though, it’s quite clear to see that there are going to be plenty of eyes on who wins as a parade of wrestlers on the All Elite Wrestling roster push towards becoming the promotion’s champion one day.

One man who, unsurprisingly, will be backing Y2J to get the win on August 31 is Shawn Spears.

Spears will have his hands full at All Out when he goes head to head with former best friend Cody Rhodes, but beyond that, we can only assume he’ll be a featured player on AEW’s weekly programming once it gets underway later on this year.

We can’t say that for certain because if he loses to Cody then that could completely derail his momentum, but one way or another, we believe in Shawn’s ability to make his presence known to the AEW fanbase.

Even after just a few short months of being part of the AEW family, Spears is coming across as a legitimate star – which is something that never quite happened for him on the main roster in WWE.

As for Jericho, it’s always great to see heels commit to their ‘bit’ on social media, as he continues to proclaim himself to be the primary factor behind their success.
