WWE and Netflix signed a deal to start making movies together. We can probably expect a few of those in the next couple of years and “The Main Event” will be the first one.

“The Main Event” finished filming yesterday in Vancouver, but PW Insider reports that two NXT Superstars actually have rather large roles in the new film as well. This could result in a pretty big push for Keith Lee.

In case you didn’t know, “The Main Event” is a story about a ten-year-old boy who is bullied. Then he becomes a great luchador after discovering a magical mask.

Babatunde from NXT is actually the lead villain in the film, but Keith Lee is said to have a pretty large role as well. In fact, it was noted that Keith Lee’s role could actually put him in line for a major push as well.

One source noted that they wouldn’t be surprised to see Lee get a big push timed with the release of the film.

With NXT moving to the USA Network that could mean that Keith Lee could be getting a big push on the yellow brand. However, you never know when they could call him over to RAW or SmackDown.

Otis of Heavy Machinery, Sheamus, The Miz, Beth Phoenix, Mauro Ranallo and Kofi Kingston are also involved in the new project.
