WWE is getting the King Of The King tournament going once again and it looks like they’re only doing this whole tournament for one person.

We previously reported that two KOTR matches are coming to RAW next week, but SmackDown Live will also see some first-round matches take place.

WWE revealed on Saturday afternoon that Kevin Owens vs Elias and Andrade vs Apollo Crews will go down next week as well.

Let’s just see if Kevin Owens can keep his momentum going after Summerslam because a King Of The Ring win could be great for KO’s character. After all, his hero “Stone Cold” Steve Austin historically won the famous tournament in 1996. Perhaps 23 years later Kevin Owens will give an “Owens 3:16” promo at Clash Of Champions.

We’ll just have to wait and see how WWE books everything, but it is certainly exciting to see the King Of The Ring tournament return in this fashion.
