Evolution was WWE’s first-ever all female pay-per-view. Now it looks like we could be in for round two.

We previously reported that WWE is considering Evolution 2.0 now that they have more top Superstars available for the event. Brad Shepard elaborated on this during Oh, You Didn’t Know where he revealed that WWE is considering giving Lita a big farewell match this time around.

“WWE is considering Evolution 2.0 and if they go through with it, a farewell match for Lita has been mentioned.”

Summerslam saw what is believed to be Trish Stratus’ final match where she lost to Charlotte Flair. Now it looks like her old friend Lita might be retiring as well. It would definitely be a possibly passing of the torch situation, but we’ll just have to see if WWE decides to follow through with the event at all in 2019.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
