WWE Raw Results – August 12, 2019

We get a commercial for the upcoming King of the Ring tournament, which kicks-off next Monday night.

We get a video package, replaying the attacks on Roman Reigns. Tomorrow night Roman will face Buddy Murphy.

Natalya makes her way to the ring, with her arm in a sling. Highlights are shown of her match against Becky Lynch last night. Natalya says she faced Becky Lynch last night and tapped out. She says Lynch outwrestled her and was the better woman on the night. Natalya says she has a dislocated elbow and will have an MRI soon. But she doesn’t take back anything she said about Becky Lynch and they will fight again when this is over. Natalya now wants to share a story. Last night her dad (Jim Neidhart) came to her in her dream and said he was proud of her. Natalya reminds us it’s been a year since her dad died.

The Viking Raiders Vs. Carter Mason & Sebastian Suave

Ivar grabs Mason and throws him out of the ring. He then grabs Sebastian and splahses him before tagging Erik. The big man lifts one and slams him onto the other.

Ivar tags in and Erik lifts him up, and throws him into Suave. Ivar covers him but then lifts him up to keep inflicting punishment. Erik hits Mason with double knees outside the ring to the floor. They hit Suave with The Viking Experience for the win.

Winners: The Viking Raiders

Caruso interviews Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross backstage. She says they’re defending their titles often. Bliss says of course they are, because they aren’t like their chatty predecessors. Cross says she couldn’t do any of this without Bliss, who says they’re going to beat the Kabuki Warriors next.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match

(C) Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross Vs. The Kabuki Warriors

The match begins with Sane and Bliss. Alexa shoves Sane, who pretends to punch her but Alexa cowers, so Sane touches her head. They throw down and Sane hits a crossbody and tags Asuka. They hit a double-team bulldog/elbow drop, then knock both Alexa and Cross to the floor and hit dives onto them. Asuka gets Alexa back in the ring for a two count.

We return to see Nikki Cross holding Sane in a submission hold. Sane tries to fight up but gets taken right back down. She fights up the second time and tries to tag Asuka but Cross lifts her up in the air. Sane ducks Cross and makes the tag.

Asuka comes in and knocks Alexa from the apron with a hip attack, then knee’s Cross in the head and delivers several kicks. Asuka connects with a running kick, then a German suplex. Alexa tags in and hits Asuka with a snap DDT but Kairi breaks it up. Alexa is angry and tags Cross. Asuka beats the two of them and hits a neckbreaker/bulldog before tagging Sane.

Sane hits Cross with an Alabama slam, then goes up top. Cross rolls from the ring, but Sane hits her with a crossbody to the floor, then puts her back inside and climbs to the top again. Kairi hits the Insane Elbow but Alexa breaks it up. Asuka swings for Alexa but Bliss ducks and leaves the ring. She suckers Asuka into kicking the ring post, then she shoves her into it.

Back in the ring, Alexa drags Cross to her corner but Sane comes back and kicks Alexa. Cross recuperates and hits Sane with a spinning neckbreaker, before tagging Alexa, who hits Twisted Bliss for the win.

Winners: Nikki Cross & Alexa Bliss

Seth Rollins cuts a promo backstage and says that AJ wants to prove he is the best Champion. But maybe AJ has forgotten that he did what he couldn’t: beat Brock Lesnar…twice. And he beat AJ at Money In The Bank. So tonight he’s going to Stomp his head once again, and remind him who the real Champion is.

Seth Rollins Vs. AJ Styles W/Gallows & Anderson

The match begins and AJ swings a kick but Seth grabs it and rams him into the corner. Seth delivers shoulder after shoulder until the ref tells him to stop. Rollins hangs AJ in the tree of woe and stomps him, before hitting a dropkick.

Rollins counters a back drop and kicks AJ. He looks for The Stomp but Gallows and Anderson pull Styles from the ring. Rollins wastes no time and hits a suicide dive to Gallows. He kicks Anderson, but then AJ slams him into the barricade. AJ lifts Seth and hits a back drop in which Seth lands face-first. Seth is in trouble as we head to the break.

We’re back live and Styles hits Rollins with Ushigoroshi. Rollins rolls to the apron and Styles looks to piledriver him but Seth gets out and lands on the floor, then swipes the feet of Styles.

Gallows and Anderson lift AJ and put him back in the ring and Seth just makes it back inside at 9. AJ lands a series of strikes to Seth, but the Universal Champion responds with a slingblade and a splash in the corner. Rollins takes AJ down with a discus forearm, then puts him on the top rope. Rollins looks for a reverse DDT but AJ elbows him off.

Styles looks for the Phenomenal Forearm but Seth dodges it, kicks AJ, then goes up top. Seth wants a frog splash but Anderson distracts the referee while Gallows shoves him to the mat. The referee ejects The O.C. from ringside. AJ tries to use the distraction to roll-up Seth but he kicks out. Rollins kicks AJ in the gut but then Anderson and Gallows run in and attack him.

Winner Via Disqualification: Seth Rollins

Styles, Gallows, and Anderson beat on Seth Rollins until Ricochet comes running down to make the save. Ricochet takes out Anderson but then Gallows lifts him up and they hit the Boot of Doom. They throw Ricochet from the ring, then AJ instructs his cohorts to lift Seth up for a top-rope Styles Clash. Before AJ can do it however, Braun Strowman comes down and hits both Anderson and Gallows with shoulder tackles. He then hits AJ with a running powerslam and poses for the crowd. Braun grabs the Universal Championship and hands it to Seth. The three of them stand together to end the show.

And that’s it for Monday Night Raw. Let us know what you thought and be sure to come back tomorrow for more news and results. Until then, safe travels.
