Matt Jackson told a passionate story at HOG Wrestling after The Young Bucks’ match with Private Party. He almost quit wrestling years ago. He was broke and nearly evicted from his apartment. Then his brother Nick convinced him to stay in the business and give it one more year.

Before they knew it, The Young Bucks were gaining attention and earning a cease and desist letter from WWE. Now they are EVPs of AEW and booking their own weekly television show on TNT.

Matt then announced that on the second week of AEW’s television show that Private Party will be their opponents in the AEW World Tag Team Tournament.

This will be an adrenaline-filled match as both teams really want to become the AEW Tag Team Champions. It is also a great match to announce for Boston as tickets go on sale this Friday.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
