Brock Lesnar shocked us all when he cashed in his Money In The Bank briefcase at Extreme Rules. Then Seth Rollins doubled down on the shock factor one month later at Summerslam.
Lesnar and Rollins battled in the Summerslam main event and it was a hard-fought contest. In the end, Seth Rollins delivered two Curb Stomps and ended up securing a pinfall on Lesnar.
This is a very interesting booking decision for WWE, but obviously, they wanted to make a point to say that Seth Rollins is their guy moving forward. Therefore, the final match of the evening featured the only title change of the night at Summerslam.
