WWE is going to hold a very long Summerslam event, but they are likely adding another match soon enough.

Drew McIntyre is not in a Summerslam match, but he has a feud bubbling up with Cedric Alexander. Therefore, the two of them are likely going to be placed in a match on the Summerslam card according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

It was noted that “one other match that at this point is also not on the show, Drew McIntyre vs. Cedric Alexander.” It wouldn’t be surprising to see WWE add this match. If anything, it will help round out the two-hour kickoff show.

It was also noted that: “The current card is still up for discussion and that changes are likely to be made to fill some of those changed slots.”

We will have to wait and see what WWE decides to do. Because they already pulled the Women’s Tag Team Title Match, Roman Reigns vs Daniel Bryan, and Aleister Black vs Sami Zayn from the pay-per-view. All of those matches either happened early or WWE is waiting because they couldn’t get around to booking the match by their deadline.
