Fite TV Responds To Report Of WWE Buying Them Out

WWE is looking to create the best possible climate for them to continue prospering and buying Fite TV might be a very big move to accomplish that.

We previously reported via the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE is very interested in buying Fite TV. Of course, this is the same streaming home as Starrcast and a host of other indie wrestling events.

Fite TV obviously heard this report and they answered back saying that there are no such discussions on-going with WWE despite the report.

No worries, FITE is here to stay! :)… and no, we are not in M&A discussions with WWE

If negotiations are still in the preliminary stages then it would stand to reason that Fite TV would deny them. It’s still interesting that they were very up front about this report as they adamantly rejected the premise as a whole.
