It’s Monday night and that means it’s time for some Raw Results courtesy of Ringside News!

Ladies and gentlemen, we’re just one week away from SummerSlam, which is crazy because WrestleMania feels like it just happened. Regardless, that means this is the final Raw before WWE rolls into Toronto and the biggest talking point tonight is The Beast. The WWE Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar, decimated Seth Rollins on Raw last week. It was the best beat-down we’ve seen since Braun Strowman annihilated Roman Reigns a few years back. Rollins was taken to hospital, following multiple F5’s and WWE has said the Architect won’t be 100% heading into the show of the summer. WWE would be wise to not have Rollins show on Raw this week but I think we all know that isn’t going to happen.

One of the marquee matches for SummerSlam is Charlotte Flair against WWE Hall of Famer, Trish Stratus. These two will go head-to-head on Sunday night, but tonight on Raw Trish teams with Natalya to take on the team of Charlotte and Becky Lynch. Of course, Natalya and Lynch are feuding right now, and will fight for the Raw Women’s Championship on Sunday, so this ties everything up in a neat little bow. Although it’s interesting see Lynch being treated as a full heel.

As for the rest of tonight’s show, WWE is teasing further developments in the Roman Reigns/forklift fiasco, more from the pregnant ball-buster and 24/7 Champion, Maria, and continued celebrations by The O.C. All that and more to look forward to tonight, and you can let us know how you feel about all of it by leaving a comment, following us on Instagram or Twitter, or by downloading the Ringside News app. Enjoy the show!

Monday Night Raw

WWE Raw opens with the WWE roster, including Triple H, standing on the stage. They ask for a minute of silence and a 10-bell salute in remembrance of the El Paso and Dayton shootings this past weekend.

After the memorial, we see a brand new video intro for Raw with a Papa Roach song. The video ends a second early as Samoa Joe is standing on the announce table yelling into a microphone.

Joe says he is out here to right some wrongs. Joe says for the past week he’s had his phone blowing up with people accusing him of attacking Roman Reigns on SmackDown Live. He yells at the announcers to tell him what proof there is of him being there and attacking Roman. Graves says it was found to be an accident, so he understands Joe’s anger, but it does seem like something he’d do. And Michael Cole says there was a poll that showed 80% of the WWE Universe think there was foul play suspected and Joe is the most likely culprit. That pisses Joe off and he calls 80% of the WWE Univese, “idiots”. He asks them to show the footage, so we take a look back at SmackDown Live, where some rigging equipment collapsed on Roman.

Back live, Joe says he didn’t see a single frame of footage with him in it. His good name has been besmirched and he’s going to wait here tonight until Roman Reigns arrives and gives him the apology he deserves. He’s about to say if anyone has a problem with that, but Becky Lynch’s music hits and cuts him off.

Lynch makes her way to the ring for tag team action, followed by her frenemy, Charlotte. Natalya is out next, then comes her tag partner, Hall of Famer, Trish Stratus. Later tonight, The Miz and Dolph Ziggler have a contract signing with Shawn Michaels, The Beast is live, and The IIconics put their Women’s Tag Team Championships on the line.

We return live and Michael Cole announces that Becky Lynch Vs. Natalya at SummerSlam will be a Submission Match.

Becky Lynch & Charlotte Flair Vs. Natalya & Trish Stratus

The match gets underway with Becky Lynch and Natalya. They exchange in a shoving match right off the bat, followed by Natalya taking her down in an arm bar. Natalya continues to out-wrestle Becky and even gets her in an armbar like Ronda Rousey but Lynch gets out and rolls her up. Lynch looks for the Sharpshooter but can’t lock it in.

Flair tags herself in and Lynch isn’t pleased. Charlotte chops Nattie repeatedly before she’s caught with a snapmare. Natalya runs over Charlotte’s back but then Flair trips her and connects with a big boot. Flair taunts Trish on the apron as she stomps Natalya around the ring. Flair delivers a knee and applies a neck crank to Natalya.

Natalya starts to fight out but Flair knocks her down, then teases tagging Becky but doesn’t do it. The fans boo as Charlotte taunts them and delivers right forearms to Natalya. Natalya looks for the Sharpshooter but Flair gets out, only for Nattie to deliver a discus clothesline.

Natalya looks to make the tag to Stratus but Flair holds her foot, then takes a swing at Trish but the Hall of Famer jumps off the apron. Flair hits Natalya with an exploder suplex, then hits the ropes but Becky tags herself in. Flair cold-cocks Lynch from behind, then leaves the ring and walks off from the match. Natalya uses the distraction to get Becky in the Sharpshooter. The Women’s Champion screams in agony but she gets to the ropes. Natalya refuses to let go of the hold and earns a disqualification.

Winners Via Disqualification: Becky Lynch & Charlotte Flair

After the referee calls for the bell, Natalya drags Lynch into the middle of the ring and cinches it in. Stratus runs into the ring and pulls Natalya off, only to be shoves into the ropes for her troubles. Nattie walks off as Trish tries to help Becky to her feet.

Andrade hits Rey into the tree of woe, then delivers a double foot stomp for a near-fall.

Mysterio looks for a hurricanrana but Andrade holds him and throws him off with a powerbomb. Andrade delivers double knees in the corner for a near-fall and Vega can’t believe it. Andrade grabs Rey but gets hit with a Canadian Destroyer for a near-fall.

Rey knocks Andrade onto the ropes and connects with 619. Zelina Vega distracts Rey for a moment, then Mysterio hits the senton from the top rope but Andrade gets his knees up. Mysterio hits the senton and scores a two count. Andrade fires back with a powerbomb and then tries to rip the mask off. The referee pulls him off, allowing Zelina Vega to stunner Rey on the ropes. Andrade then hits his Hammerlock DDT for the win!

Winner: Andrade

Still to come, Miz TV’s contract signing, Brock Lesnar appearing live, and a match between Cedric Alexander and Drew McIntyre with Kurt Angle as guest referee.

We see a replay of last week’s 24/7 Championship Mosh Pit Match, followed by Mike Kanellis winning the title and his wife taking it from him. We see Mike and Maria at her OB GYN appointment earlier today. Maria is talking proudly about being the first-ever pregnant 24/7 Champion. She is invited in for her exam and she tells Mike to follow her.

*Commercial Break*

We’re back with Mike and Maria getting her OB GYN exam. He’s rubbing her head and she tells him to look alive, to have the eye of the tiger, to make sure that her baby stays the Champion. Maria relaxes and lays down on the table, where Mike hugs and kisses her. The doctor comes in and pats Mike in the back three times… the doctor is the female referee from NXT and she counted it. Mike Kanellis is the 24/7 Champion. Mike walks out of the doctor’s office back into the waiting room and he’s so happy he won the title. As he’s standing, exclaiming his disbelief, we see a disguised R-Truth and Carmella sitting nearby. Mike notices them and says he can’t believe they followed him here. Truth has a fake baby bump. Truth says his water just broke, then reaches under his dress and pulls out a baby doll. He throws it in the air, so Mike drops his title and grabs the baby. Truth rolls him up and the doctor/referee comes out and counts the pinfall. R-Truth is the 24/7 Champion. Truth yells “you’ve got your baby, now I got mine!” then he runs off with Carmella on his back.

We see Becky Lynch backstage for an interview and she says she plans on embarrassing Natalya in her home country. But that’s nothing new because she’s been a let-down to Canada for her whole career. She says that, while Natalya was out there in a bikini on reality TV and perfecting her duck-face on Instagram, she was out there perfecting her craft. She says she won’t tap out to the Sharpshooter, but she guarantees that Natalya will tap.

Natalya is also backstage with a different interviewer, and she says she can’t wait until SummerSlam because it will be a huge celebration when she makes Lynch tap out.

Brock Lesnar is shown walking backstage with Paul Heyman, he’ll be live next!

*Commercial Break*

Back live and we get a commercial for NXT TakeOver Toronto, taking place this Saturday night.

The WWE Universal Champion, The Beast, Brock Lesnar makes his way to the ring with Paul Heyman. According to the announcers, and Seth Rollins’ Twitter, Seth is going to be here tonight.

Heyman introduces himself and Brock Lesnar. Heyman says his client has authorised him and instructed him to educate all of us. He asks “wasn’t Seth Rollins supposed to be the Beast-Slater?”, “wasn’t he supposed to be the one man who had Brock Lesnar’s number?”, “wasn’t he supposed to be The Architect of the arson that would burn down Suplex City?”, “isn’t he supposed to be the big hero for the new generation of the WWE Universe?”, “isn’t he supposed to be Seth Freakin’ Rollins?” He says that is not the case, and points us to a video of last week’s beat-down.

We come back from the video and Lesnar is laughing. Heyman says he dropped to his knees and begged Lesnar to show mercy to Rollins since he knows WWE needs a new hero. He says what Lesnar did was borderline criminal. Heyman knows some inside information. Seth Rollins is here in Pittsburgh tonight. The crowd cheers. Heyman says he doesn’t know why they would cheer a man who has more balls than brains.

Seth Rollins’ music hits, and he limps out to the stage with a steel chair in his hand. Rollins slowly gets to ringside and pulls himself up the steps and into the ring. Rollins tries to charge Lesnar, but Lesnar kicks him in the injured ribs. Lesnar steps on the steel chair and kicks him in the face. Lesnar drives the steel chair into Rollins’ ribs before smashing it on his back. Lesnar stands over Seth and talks some trash, then picks him up and rams him into the corner. Lesnar picks him up and slams him into the corner once again. Lesnar waits for Rollins to get up, then just shoves him across the ring. Heyman asks, “What the hell is wrong with you?” Lesnar again hits him in the ribs. Lesnar finishes things off with an F5. Lesnar poses with the WWE Universal Championship standing over Rollins.

*Commercial Break*

We come back from the break and see a video of Lesnar hitting Rollins with another F5 as officials come down with a stretcher.

Rollins grabs a microphone as he pulls himself up using the ropes. Rollins says it’s gotten to the point where he has to ask himself if all this is worth it. Rollins says you love something so much that you’d do anything to protect it and make it safe, even if the thing you love keeps you getting beat to a pulp inside and out week after week after week. For Rollins, the answer is yes. The crowd aren’t very interested in this promo. He says this is all he is. Every second of every day, this is all he ever wanted. Rollins says this is all he’s got. Rollins promises that he’ll be at SummerSlam, and he’ll beat Brock Lesnar. Rollins falls out of the ring and pulls himself up. The referees are trying to get him to get checked out. Rollins says he won’t be getting on a stretcher. Rollins walks off to polite applause.

Charly Caruso is backstage with WWE Hall of Famer and Pittsburgh’s own Kurt Angle, who gets a big pop. Angle says it feels great to be back in Pittsburgh. NXT Tag Team Champions The Street Profits walk up to him and introduce themselves. They promote NXT TakeOver: Toronto streaming live on Saturday and SummerSlam streaming live on Sunday. Their game plan of intensity, integrity, and intelligence has made them thirsty. They Montes Ford beatboxes Angle’s theme song. They take out some red solo cups and a box of milk, and Angle says he promised his wife he wouldn’t do anything crazy. That was funny. Angelo Dawkins asks if he’s Kurt Angle or Mike Kanellis. Angle then agrees to have some milk. They go for a toast, but Drew McIntyre cuts them off. McIntyre says he comes in peace. McIntyre reminds Angle what happened last time they were in the ring together. McIntyre warns him to call his match with Cedric Alexander down the line. McIntyre says he made Angle tap out to his own move. If he screws him, he’ll break his skull. Drew walks off.

Alexander then leaps off the barricade and hits a tornado DDT.

Michaels joins The Miz in the ring and poses. Miz then introduces “the pariah of WWE”, Dolph Ziggler. With all three men in the ring, Ziggler gets on the horn and says he has been carrying this company on his back for ten years. He’s been on every poster and every PPV. He’s the best thing to happen this company since Shawn lost his smile and since Miz lost his balls. So he is the only legend in the ring right now, and he will earn that recognition after he beats Miz on Sunday.

Ziggler signs the contract and Miz says takes the mic. He says that if Ziggler feels like he hasn’t earned the respect of the fans after all this time, then that’s because of him, not the fans or anyone else. He says he can’t wait to get his hands on Ziggler, next Monday night on Raw. Ziggler corrects him but Miz laughs and says the contract Ziggler signed wasn’t to face him on Sunday.
