AEW started thanks to a $1 bet in a lot of ways. The initial wager said that ROH couldn’t sell out a 10,000 seat arena. Ring Of Honor didn’t sell out the Sears Centre for All In, but The Young Bucks and Cody Rhodes took this challenge to heart and made it happen.

What took place next was a whirlwind of events surrounding Tony Khan’s involvement. Khan initially wanted CM Punk as part of the company, but they were able to secure a television deal with TNT even without the Second City Savior aboard.

Today was the big day that AEW had been teasing for a long time. Because now we have an official announcement regarding AEW’s future on TNT. AEW’s television show will begin airing on TNT starting on October 2nd.

This is a big deal and will be the start of something brand new in the pro wrestling world. Stay tuned to Ringside News as we bring you all of the updates.
