WWE has a big Raw Reunion special booked for next week and slew of legends are coming back. However, the week after that will be a normal episode of Raw and they need any ratings boost to stay for them from the previous episode.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed what WWE needs to do during their Raw Reunion special next week. They might have a lot of fans tuning in just to see the legends, but they need to use this chance to get viewers to keep coming back.

“So they’ve got three hours to shoot a big angle I guess and I’ve got to think that they’re probably smart enough. I mean, I know they’re smart enough to do that. Whether they have that angle is a different question whether they’ve got something under their sleeve — you know that they’re ready to shoot.”

Only time will tell what WWE has in store for Raw’s big reunion next week. Hopefully, they will be able to do something that doesn’t involve legends that they’re bringing in for only one week that can entice fans to come back next week to watch their stories continue to unfold.

With Summerslam coming up on August 11th we could very well see another big match get booked, but at this point we have no idea what to expect from WWE.
