WWE Extreme Rules is in the books and now we have a new Universal Champion. However, it wasn’t Baron Corbin who ended up winning the title from Seth Rollins. Because Brock Lesnar returned and cashed in the Money In The Bank contract to walk away with his third reign as champion.

After Brock Lesnar left the Wells Fargo Arena, Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins were left in the ring. The Man was still selling the fact that she took an End Of Days from Baron Corbin and Seth Rollins was trying to accept the fact that he lost the Universal Title.

It was a rather stressful moment and Rollins apologized to Becky Lynch for letting her down and everyone down. He received a nice ovation, but he continued to apologize for letting everyone down. It kind of makes us wonder why WWE feels like they need Brock Lesnar as champion.

Let’s just see if this helps ratings for RAW tomorrow night because Lesnar as champion has already caused a spike in ticket prices.
