We see New Day in the Guerrilla Position and Kayla Braxton starts to ask them a question but Paul Heyman walks past and grabs her microphone and walks to the ring.

Heyman comes to the stage and introduces himself. He says he is Philadelphia and he is extreme. And he’ll be damned is he doesn’t take part in a historic show, so he promises that Brock Lesnar will cash-in the Money In The Bank briefcase tonight. He says he’s proud to be leaving here tonight with the WWE Champion or the Universal Champion but of course, him telling everyone this would either make him stupid, or a liar, and he walks off.

WWE United States Championship Match

(C) Ricochet Vs. AJ Styles W/The Club

Before the match begins, as Ricochet is posing, Anderson and Gallows storm the ring and beat the Champion down. AJ makes them leave the ring, then the referee checks on Ricochet before officially starting the match.

AJ runs and slams Ricochet into the corner, and delivers shoulder tackles. Ricochet fights back with right hands and chops. Ricochet dodges Styles to connect with a handstand hurricanrana and a dropkick. Styles plays possum, then slams Ricochet into the turnbuckles. Ricochet fights back and dropkicks AJ out of the ring. Ricochet looks for a dive out of the ring but AJ moves, so Ricochet flips over the ropes and lands on the apron. Ricochet then leaps off and onto AJ with a shooting star press.

Gallows distracts Ricochet, allowing Styles to slam him into the LED apron, which stopped working. Back inside the ring, AJ whips Ricochet into the turnbuckles hard before hitting a backbreaker. Styles slows the pace down and applies a sleeper to Ricochet in the middle of the ring. Ricochet flips off of AJ’s chest and hits an enziguiri to create some separation. Ricochet hits a springboard to AJ, then runs and dives off the top rope onto Gallows and Anderson at ringside.

Ricochet takes to the apron but Styles catches him on his shoulders and hits a Ushigoroshi. Ricochet looks for a tornado DDT but Styles reverses into a suplex into the turnbuckles. After a few reversals, Styles connects with a reverse DDT for a two count. AJ hits a springboard but nobody’s home, then Style’s grabs Ricochet and hits a wheelbarrow facebuster into a pin for a two count. Ricochet rolled through the Styles Clash to a pin attempt to no avail.

Styles and Ricochet exchange shots, resulting in an enziguiri from Ricochet and a pele kick from Styles. A brainbuster from Ricochet, then he looks for a second but AJ lands one of his own and earns a near-fall. Styles puts Ricochet on the top rope but gets punched off. Ricochet hits a shooting star press from the ropes but Anderson jumps onto the apron to tell the referee AJ’s foot was under the bottom rope.

Ricochet signals for the end and climbs to the top rope. Anderson gets on the apron, so Ricochet jumps over him and hits an enziguiri, knocking him into the ring. The referee is distracted with Anderson, so Gallows jumps up and shoves Ricochet. Styles comes to and hits a Styles Clash from the middle rope and you have a new Champ!
