AEW Fight For The Fallen was over four hours and fans in Daily’s Place were hot and very tired by the end of the show. However, it turns out we have Matt Stone and Trey Parker to thank for the event just as much as we do The Elite.

Tony Khan revealed on social media that South Park was the inspiration for the Fight For The Fallen venue. Daily’s Place provided a very unique atmosphere for pro wrestling that worked very well in an amphitheater, the night just went very long.

Thank you to everyone who watched @AEWrestling #FightForTheFallen live or on @brlive US/Canada or @FiteTV elsewhere. Over a year ago I dreamed this staging watched South Park, @dailysplace was great tonight! This show wasn’t designed to profit, glad to give back to Jacksonville!

Maybe Tony Khan’s favorite television shows will continue to influence upcoming AEW pay-per-view events. We can only guess what kind of ideas he will come up with next, but Daily’s Place seemed to provide an excellent venue for the night.
