WWE will often hold “dark matches” for fans in attendance at television events. This is an extra treat for the people in the building that they get just for showing up and staying until the end of the broadcast.

This week the fans in Newark, NJ got to see two title matches take place after the show. They seemed to split up the Extreme Rules main event into two singles matches.

Becky Lynch defeated Lacey Evans in a short match to retain the RAW Women’s Title. After that, Seth Rollins defeated Baron Corbin in a street fight to retain the Universal Title.

During the Universal Title Match, Baron Corbin ended up getting attacked by the referee after he got in his face. This is very similar to what happened the last time Corbin had a Universal Title opportunity.

We’ll have to wait and see what happens this Sunday at Extreme Rules, but both Rollins and Lynch were able to keep their titles after RAW was over this week.
