WWE often sends their Superstars out in the public to represent the company. Sometimes they attend different events just to get WWE’s brand awareness out there, but other times they have charitable endeavors to take part in. It looks like two Superstars didn’t have to worry about a previously announced charity appearance today.

Alexa Bliss and Braun Strowman were previously scheduled to attend a charity event for Connor’s Cure at a California Pizza Kitchen in New Jersey. However, they did not make the appearance.

Instead, Baron Corbin and Nikki Cross filled in for Team Little Big after they were pulled from the event. It’s unknown why Bliss and Strowman were unable to attend the charity event, but it’s a good thing replacements could be arranged.

Alexa Bliss hasn’t been feeling all that well recently as we previously reported. Perhaps she wasn’t over her sickness. If they pulled Strowman due to his explosive angle on Raw last week that saw him leaving in an ambulance that might not be too surprising if they wanted to keep with kayfabe.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
