AEW will be on TNT in the fall and although October has been widely discussed as the month they will start, nothing has been confirmed from AEW or TNT. However, they might need to get those announcements ready sooner than later if they want to see the tickets needed to look good on television.

Joe Peisich said on the Barnburner Radio Network that AEW is expected to announce their first set of television dates very soon. In fact, it could come as soon as July 13th’s Fight For The Fallen event.

“They will reveal the first month of tapings — where they’re going to tape and everything. I hear they will reveal next weekend as part of Fight for the Fallen.”

AEW has a lot of places they could go and sell out smaller buildings and look great on television. As they continue to grow in popularity, they might move to larger arenas on a weekly basis, but they need to attach themselves to markets that WWE might have left without house shows very often.

It will be interesting to see where AEW takes their television show to first and how many tickets they are able to sell. The first television show might not be much of an issue because that will be a hot ticket that some fans might even fly in to attend. However, the thing about weekly television is that they need a fresh location every week in order to make it work. That is where the real issues come in.
