WWE Superstars take bumps practically every day and you never know when an injury could be coming. It looks like Jinder Mahal is now injured and he had to undergo surgery.

The Modern Day Maharaja posted a social media update letting fans know that he ruptured his patella tendon while wrestling Finn Balor in Denver. This is a tough injury, but at least he’s already getting it fixed.

On the mend. Ruptured my Patella Tendon in Denver Colorado June 15 in a match against @aliwwe . Happy to say surgery went well, and my knee was better than expected. This comeback is going to be legendary.

With an injury like this, there is usually 4-6 months until sports should be resumed. Pro wrestling is a very high-contact activity so we’ll just have to wait and see.

Thankfully for Jinder Mahal, he recently re-signed five-year contract with WWE.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
