WWE tales staph infections very seriously. Not only are they problematic if left untreated, but they are also something that you don’t need to be taking into the squared circle. This is especially after CM Punk claimed that WWE made him wrestle with one for while.

Now it looks like a staph infection is bothering Undisputed Era member Kyle O’Reilly as Pro Wrestling Sheet reports. Therefore, he won’t be allowed to work the EVOLVE 129 and 130 events this weekend.

WWE was obviously concerned about this issue, so they pulled him from the EVOLVE events. We previously reported that Bobby Fish wouldn’t be able to work those shows either.

It is said that WWE is hoping that O’Reilly’s staph infection will clear up within the next couple of weeks. So he should be all better before NXT TakeOver: Toronto.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
