How WWE Avoided Matches During Commercials On RAW This Week

WWE has a new edict from Vince McMahon. They aren’t showing any wrestling during commercial breaks and that means that they need to come up with some clever booking.

It turns out that WWE’s answer to not wrestling during commercial breaks is to restart matches and have multiple contest for different Superstars on the same night. This is a very interesting solution.

In fact, eight Superstars competed in multiple matches this week on Raw due to this new rule from McMahon. Thanks to one of our awesome readers who sent us these notes and pointing this out to us.

R-Truth has had 3 matches tonight
Alexa Bliss and Natalya have had 2 matches
The Usos and The Revival had 2 matches
Kofi Kingston had 2 matches and a beatdown

Ricochet & AJ Styles’ match needed to be restarted after The Good Brothers were sent to the back, so two matches

Instead of wrestling, WWE is doing other things to keep the crowd entertained. One of those attempts to entertain the crowd was a trivia contest where a kid name dropped CM Punk in big and hilarious way.

Having multiple matches and so many restarts might get old after a while. Let’s just see how long Vince McMahon will keep up with this new rule.
