Jon Moxley made his big debut for AEW at Double Or Nothing and he sent a big message to the locker room by destroying both men who had just competed in the big main event. He is fresh off of a run with WWE so he obviously got to work quickly when talking to AEW, but the question remains how quickly did the two sides start talking.

Following AEW Double Or Nothing Tony Khan discussed Jon Moxley’s contract and explained what kind of dates he’ll be permitted to work outside of the company. He also explained exactly when he started hearing from the former Dean Ambrose.

“As soon as he was legal… as soon as he was out of his deal and wanted to talk to people he came to me and I was really excited to talk to him when he was able to talk to me and he’s been great and I’m really excited that he’s part of the roster.”

Dean Ambrose was a workhorse for WWE, but he wasn’t happy. Now he is taking his talents to AEW and it looks like he will have the creative freedom to really show what he can do in the ring now.

Tony Khan is certainly excited about this and he’s not the only one.
