Money In The Bank included many great contests and Kofi Kingston is still WWE Champion. However, it turns out that nobody knew what was going to happen until very late in the day.

Sean Sapp said on Fightful’s MITB wrap-up show that Vince McMahon hadn’t made up his mind about who he wanted to be WWE Champion when Money In The Bank was over until very late. This obviously caused some anxious waiting backstage.
“I was told they didn’t even know who would win this as late as this afternoon.”
Kofi Kingston is still WWE Champion so he will continue to fight another day. He has plenty of challengers lined up, but Kevin Owens might not be done with him yet either.
