WWE has a lot of people on their staff and they often try to move people around to try new things out. A recent change has seen WWE Hall Of Famer Beth Phoenix placed on the NXT commentary team leaving Percy Watson without a spot.

Percy Watson was a voice on NXT’s television show since he returned to the company in 2016 after a short time away. Now he is officially gone from the company.

He trained as a pro wrestler and started with WWE back when they used the FCW developmental territory, but now his time with the company is finished once again.

We previously reported that he had quit the company, but it was not known if he was granted that release. Mauro Ranallo bid his broadcast partner farewell and now The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has confirmed his exit.

Watson has stated that he wants to break into acting. Hopefully, he will find a lot of success in whatever path he chooses next.
