Kurt Angle’s Current Role In WWE Revealed

Kurt Angle is a WWE Hall Of Famer and he recently signed a new multi-year contract with the company. We can only assume it is a lucrative contract as well because WWE is pulling Angle from some appearances and they aren’t stopping either.

Kurt Angle will soon be filling the role of backstage producer in WWE. This is a new job for him, but he’s seem how people do it for years. That will still require some on-the-job training.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Kurt Angle is currently shadowing producers backstage to learn the ropes. He is learning different aspects of the job which will hopefully be his new long-term position with the company.

It is also important to note that Kurt Angle was very clear that his new role in WWE could also include some on-screen activity as well. So he could appear in a non-wrestling role or as a manager.

Only time will tell how WWE ends up using Kurt Angle during this portion of his career as a Hall Of Famer, but there are plenty of options. At least we know he will likely be around because they are going to be relying on his expertise outside the ring in a producer role.
