Mauro Ranallo is one of the best play-by-play announcers in the game and it looks like he’s not leaving NXT for a while longer. Because the Bi Polar Rock n Roller has signed a new WWE contract.

PW Insider reports that Ranallo has signed new contract with WWE and will remain the lead play-by-play announcer of NXT. This is great news for fans who eagerly await the Mauro Ranallo reacts videos after each TakeOver event.

It is reported that this deal was inked over a month ago as well so it took some time to break. Ranallo will still be permitted to take part in announcing duties for other combat sporting events as well outside of WWE such as Showtime Boxing.

Mauro Ranallo was the voice of SmackDown Live until he left the company after experiencing some personal issues only to return a short time later in command of the NXT announce team where he still resides.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
