Money In The Bank is on May 19th and WWE really needs to create as much buzz for the event as possible. They have a lot of different options available, but invasion angles have always worked in the past, right?

As we previously reported, WWE wants to have big RAW next week to built toward Money In The Bank. It appears that they are arranging an angle with Roman Reigns where he wants to show up on RAW, but the company won’t let him. Seth Rollins might not want The Big Dog on RAW either.

Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio that it looks like the company could be planning a mini-invasion angle of sorts to help create hype for WWE’s next pay-per-view event.

“Their idea was to bring Roman Reigns to RAW and other guys. They cancelled their Monday night SmackDown house show so a lot of the SmackDown guys might — I’m gonna guess — no one’s told me this, but I’m guessing you’re gonna have Roman Reigns and the four women and the four guys from the Money In The Bank match running in and doing an angle maybe, maybe we’ll see what they’re doing.”

“The idea is to have a bigger show so we’ll see if it works.”

We will have to wait and see how everything pans out next week on RAW, but it could get very interesting. WWE nixed their Corbin Kentucky house show for definite reason. Now we get to see what that reason was on Monday’s show.

Hopefully, it will draw in viewers because WWE really needs to pull the ratings out of the toilet.
