Impact Wrestling will be filming television episodes this weekend and Ringside News will have all of those updates. However, they will not be including Brian Cage.

The current Impact Wrestling champion was injured during his battle at Impact Wrestling’s Rebellion pay-per-view. He finished the match which included a post-match Elgin Bomb from a debuting Mike Elgin, but Cage was hurt.

He was said to be in very bad situation backstage and he was rushed to the hospital. His prognosis wasn’t the best and Brian Cage tweeted out saying that he felt like he let the fans down.

Cage was subsequently pulled from the Impact Wrestling tapings this weekend. This was not good news at all. Hopefully, this won’t mean that Cage has to relinquish his title.

The Machine tweeted out: “Sorry guys” at the announcement from Impact Wrestling. We’re sending our best out to Brian Cage right now as he deals with this tough back injury.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
