Impact Wrestling has a loaded roster full of talent. If you missed Impact Wrestling’s Rebellion pay-per-view then it might be worth watch. Sami Callihan battled Rich Swann during the show for the X-Division Championship and Swann was able to retain his title in a hard-hitting match.

Swann must have made a big impression on Impact Wrestling because they want to keep him around for even longer.

PW Insider reports that Impact Wrestling has signed Rich Swann to a new multi-year deal that will see him with the company until May 2021. The former WWE Cruiserweight Champion had nothing but glowing things to say about his current pro wrestling home.

“It’s a multi-year deal and that’s something we can build off of. Seeing how the company is growing, there’s no reason to think that it can’t become a relationship that lasts even longer. I’m treated very well and I’m very happy there. It’s one of the most packed rosters right now.”

Rich Swann’s WWE release was not the end of his story when it comes to working on a national scale. Now he is the current X Division Champion in Impact Wrestling.

The roster of Impact Wrestling are working very hard to bring attention to the company. Hopefully, with Impact knowing that they will have Rich Swann around for even longer they will be even more confident in giving him the spotlight.
