Tessa Blanchard was cutting a promo and then Tully came out and told her that tonight is when she controls her destiny. He’ll be at ringside.

Tessa Blanchard vs Gail Kim

They got in each other’s faces right from the jump and Gail took advantage after Tessa fired the first shot. Gail hit a legdrop for a two count followed by some more work on Blanchard from Kim.

Gail took a bump outside and Tessa hit a suicide dive. Gail returned fire with some slingshot kicks around the ring post before moving back into the ring. Tessa didn’t let Gail do a figure 4 around the ring post and they returned to the ring where Tessa hit a Codebreaker as Gail was hung up on the second rope for a two count.

Tessa maintained control until Gail moved as Tessa tried to hit an elbow off the ropes. Then Gail Kim tried for a submission, but Tessa blocked it for a backbreaker and a suplex for a two count.

Tessa yelled at Gail’s husband Robert Irvine at ringside and chopped her hard. Then she sent Gail to the floor. They moved to the apron and traded shots before they both ended up taking a bump off the apron on opposite sides.

Suddenly, Gail Kim did the figure 4 with the help of the ring post. They returned to the ring and traded shots. Gail yelled “screw you!” and tried to hit a second running knee, but Tessa moved so Kim hit a crossbody for a two count.

Gail went for Eat Defeat, but Tessa kicked her through the ropes and they fought on the ramp. Then Tessa raised Gail Kim up and launched her off the stage. She took a bad bump face-first.

Gail got back in the ring at the 9 count from the referee. Then Tessa continued her assault, but Kim hit the Eat Defeat for a two count. Gail climbed up top and Tessa joined her. Then Blanchard bit Gail’s arm to counter a dragon sleeper.

Blanchard nailed a press slam off the top rope before hitting a Magnum for a two count. Then Tessa locked in a cross face until Gail Kim tapped out.

Winner: Tessa Blanchard

Then Tessa got back in the ring and they hugged it out. Things got quite emotional. Tessa raised Gail’s hand and thanked her before leaving Gail Kim alone in the ring so she could get some “thank you Gail” chants.

Johnny Impact (c) vs. Brian Cage – Impact World Championship W/ Lance Storm as special referee

Cage started out fast and Impact took some abuse, but Johnny ended up blocking him to send them both to the mat. Then Impact started hitting some kicks and a shooting star for a two count.

Cage returned fire with a slam and a standing moonsault for a two count. The started fighting on the ramp as Lance Storm tried to get them back in the ring. They didn’t listen and Impact nailed a Spanish fly to the floor from the ramp.

Lance Storm told Impact that he has to win it in the ring so a 10 count isn’t going to do it. Then Impact got in Storm’s face a little bit when they got back inside as Cage remained on the floor.

Cage was busted open bad after taking a shot to the guardrail. Blood was all over Cage’s face. He obviously cut himself too much because there was a pool of blood on the mat. It was coming right from his hairline. Cage fought back, but Impact nailed a kick and a forearm as Brian Cage avoided it. Then Impact nailed a spear off the second rope for a two count.

Taya and Johnny Bravo set up a table at ringside and then Cage blocked a slam through the table at ringside. Suddenly, Cage countered a move off the apron and powerbombed Impact through the table.

Bravo grabbed Cage and then the former referee got dragged in. Impact grabbed the title and hit Brian Cage and then Lance Storm took a baseball slide to the floor.

Cage hit a powerbomb on Taya and then Johnny Bravo rolled in with a ref shirt on and counted to two off a Starship Pain that missed terribly.

Lance Storm hit Bravo with a superkick and Cage nailed a Drillclaw to win the Impact World Title. That match was a cluster.

Winner: Brian Cage

Suddenly, Michael Elgin came out and squared up with Brian Cage. It looks like Elgin is making his mark on Impact Wrestling.

Elgin nailed a backfist and a spinning sitdown powerbomb on Cage before leaving.

Pentagon Jr. and Fenix (c) vs. LAX (Santana and Ortiz) – Impact Tag Team Title Match Full Metal Mayhem

LAX hit the Lucha Bros with dives during their entrance. They didn’t even give Penta and Fenix a chance to take off their entrance attire.

The Lucha Bros returned fire with double dives through tables that were propped up on the guardrail. Then Penta and Fenix started picking LAX apart.

Ortiz found himself in the ring and the Lucha Bros hit him with a string of moves before he was able to kick out at two. Then Santana got a trash can put over him before they hit dueling kicks for another two count.

Penta and Fenix sat up tables, but Ortiz came in with a pan and started lighting them up. Santana hit a cutter on Penta followed by a Codebreaker from Ortiz, but Penta didn’t stay down as Fenix broke up the pin.

Fenix started landing multiple kicks and then LAX hit him with dropkicks and a cannonball from Santana in the corner. Ortiz started loading the ring up with chairs as Santana continued to stomp away at Fenix.

LAX placed Fenix on top and sat two chairs up before hitting a double stomp/ cutter through the chair for a two count.

Ortiz hit Fenix with a suplex on two chair and Penta took a bump over the guardrail thanks to Santana. Then Santana got a ladder and put it in the ring.

Soon all four men were in the ring trading shots. They added a table to the ring and then they all sat in chairs to trade forearms. Konnan handed LAX forks and the Lucha Bro blocked the fork shots. Then the Lucha Bros hit them with chairs only to have the favor returned.

LAX sat up 6 chairs in the ring as Fenix was placed on the top turnbuckle. Before they could do anything, Penta came back with a trashcan lid and the Lucha Bros nailed spike piledriver/double stomp through the chairs for a two count.

Santana sent Penta into a chair and destroyed the furniture. Then he sat up the ladder. LAX placed a table on the ramp with a ladder in the ring. Then Fenix tightroped the rope and hit a Spanish fly on Santana through the table on the ramp.

Penta hit a wicked Pentagon Driver on Santana through a chair for another near fall. Pentagon placed a table in front of the ladder and he got a second table to set up before grabbing a bag of thumbtacks which he spread all over the tables.

Santana threw tacks in Penta’s face and placed Penta on the table before he climbed up, but Pentagon met him on top. They traded shots until Ortiz came back in and stopped a superplex only to hit a powerbomb through the two tables as Santana stabbed Penta in the head repeatedly before Penta took a bump through the table covered in thumbtacks. 1-2-3 and we have new Impact World Tag Team Champions.

Winners: LAX

After the match was over, Konnan helped Pentagon Jr to his feet. Then they all met in the middle of the ring for an incredible showing of respect to cap off the night.

Then most of the babyfaces from the Impact locker room came out to the ring to congratulate the two teams that closed out the show.
