Chris Benoit is not in the WWE Hall Of Fame. Due to his accomplishments and ability in the ring a lot of people think that despite the events surrounding Benoit’s death, he should be immortalized in the WWE Hall Of Fame anyway. Vickie Guerrero is one of those people who thinks that Chris Benoit deserves an induction.

While speaking to Chris Van Vliet, Vickie admitted how tragic the entire situation was, but she still thinks that Chris Benoit deserves an induction into the WWE Hall Of Fame.

“It’s a sad situation. I loved Chris Benoit. His family was our family. His wife Nancy, we were close friends and their son Daniel and we were all really close. I wasn’t there when it happened and I don’t understand why it happened but I still love him. Aside from all of that he loved us and he respected us. He was a talented wrestler and he had his own legacy and I think that it shouldn’t be ignored and it’s sad how things turned out but I would like to see him inducted into the Hall of Fame.”

This might be a controversial viewpoint, but plenty of people could feel the same way. There is no excusing Chris Benoit murdering his wife and child before taking his own life. However, he was one of the best pro wrestlers on the planet before he did that.

It is certainly a tricky situation, but I wouldn’t wager much money on WWE inducting him any time soon. So it’s probably a moot point to consider.
