Lio Rush is Bobby Lashley’s hypeman, but the fact is that Rush is also very good at hyping himself. This seems to have become an issue in WWE.

Rush is no stranger to backstage heat. He famously made a joke about Tenille Dashwood’s WWE release a number of years ago when he was a fresh face in NXT. Now it looks like he has even more heat on him.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that Lio Rush wasn’t used on RAW this week at all. He even sat backstage as Bobby Lashley took part in a dark match segment. This is due to the fact that The Man Of The Hour has apparently let his ego get the best of him.

Rush is a very confident man. That can rub people the wrong way, even though you have to have that to be a star in this business. The story goes that he’s made it very clear to many people that he thinks he should be a/the top guy on the brand, and hasn’t been shy about saying it

Lio Rush spoke about possibly changing his tactic and this might be why. He said that he is beginning to lose track of who he is. Maybe Rush needs to take a different approach backstage in WWE.

The fact is that Lio Rush has a ton of ability, but he might need to keep it to himself at times. People don’t like to be forced to listen to someone talk about how good they are even though it is often par for the course in pro wrestling.

Hopefully, Lio Rush will be able to make some kind of amends. Until that happens we might be seeing less of Lio or even possibly an attempt to humble him on television.
