Kairi Sane’s time in NXT is over after the second night of the Superstar Shake-Up determined that she is on the SmackDown Live brand. She is in a good position while teaming with Asuka and being led to the ring by Paige, but NXT will certainly miss her.

The Pirate Princess had a chance to say goodbye while giving a curtain call during the last NXT television taping. She failed to win the NXT Women’s Title from Shayna Baszler meaning she could never challenge for that title again. Now she is on to bigger and better things.

WWE Performance Center’s YouTube uploaded a pretty fantastic video of everyone saying goodbye to Kairi Sane. However, the most important part is that Sane was saying goodbye to a place where she grew as a wrestler in ways she didn’t think were possible. Sane made life-long friendships as a part of NXT, but nothing can last forever.

It was really hard for Xia Li who Kairi said in the video is her best friend. There were tears all around as Li dealt with the fact that Sane had just wrestled her last match in NXT.

Obviously it was hard to say goodbye for Kairi Sane, but in WWE it’s never goodbye forever, it’s just see you on another brand down the line.
