WWE’s Plan For Samoa Joe Once He Is Able To Work Following Illness

Samoa Joe wasn’t seen this week on WWE television because he was very ill. The United States Champion wasn’t forgotten about in the Superstar Shake-Up though.

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that once Samoa Joe returns to action he will be moved over to the RAW brand. We previously reported that the plan was to have him show up on RAW for an angle with Braun Strowman, but it was nixed.

Therefore, the idea is that he will most likely be working against The Monster Among Men. That could be a very heavy-hitting feud.

Samoa Joe was incredibly sick on Monday and hardly able to function, therefore, he wasn’t used. This booking decision was pretty much confirmed when Finn Balor showed up on SmackDown with the IC Title.

Therefore, you can probably expect WWE to announce that Samoa Joe is on RAW later this week.
