The WWE Superstar Shake-Up seemed to split up several teams. SaNITy is no more and the Riott Squad are also split up. Bayley and Sasha Banks are no longer team either and this reportedly upset them a lot as well. However, WWE also called Chad Gable over to SmackDown Live which ends his Glorious Ones team with Bobby Roode.

Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio that there was a plan for Gable and Roode, but the Superstar Shake-Up put an abrupt end to whatever was next for the former RAW Tag Team Champions.

“So Bobby Roode and Chad Gable were building that team up to do a split with Bobby Roode going heel — that’s all out the window now.”

Roode vs Gable could have been a rivalry that lasted a few months and could have helped elevate both of them if they were able to perform in the ring as singles competitors. However, that is not going to happen now because the Superstar Shake-Up split up their team before they even had a chance to implode on their own.
