Kenny Omega Considers Working For WWE As ‘A Fantasy World’

Kenny Omega is under contract with All Elite Wrestling and focusing his energy on making that company a success. As Co-Vice President of AEW he is likely getting paycheck already as are a few other wrestlers. When asked about WWE by Two Man Power Trip, it didn’t seem like he was closing the door 100%, but right now he has “zero interest.”

Omega’s interest is now with AEW, but he is always paying attention to the entire pro wrestling landscape as he continued to explain why he just isn’t thinking about WWE right now.

“Right now no. Zero. Absolutely not. I am 100% focused on what we are doing with AEW and my interest starts and ends with just hoping the best for my friends that are there and I hope they do well, I know WrestleMania is coming up and it is a big show for them and I hope everyone kills it. If everyone is doing well than the industry does well and that is about it. Of course and I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again I just wait for the fantasy world which may or may not happen where we’ll work together someday.”

Kenny Omega is 35-years-old so when his current AEW contract is at an end he will be at an interesting crossroads in his career. This would have been the perfect time to sign with WWE, but he picked AEW instead.

You can never say never in pro wrestling, especially WWE. However, if Omega does take any kind of deal with WWE it won’t be happening for a few years at least because he seems to really enjoy working with his friends.
