Bobby Lashley Considering Leaving WWE For MMA Return

Bobby Lashley was unsuccessful in holding onto the WWE Intercontinental Title at WrestleMania. Finn Balor’s Demon King made quick work of The All Mighty and it appears as though Lashley is on to his next challenge in WWE.

While speaking to Sky Sports, Bobby Lashley revealed that he wants to go back to MMA for a couple more fights. He is currently under WWE contract, but he said that the clock is ticking. Therefore, we might see him take off to pursue that interest after SummerSlam.

“I think I am still probably going to do a couple more before it’s all said and done,” Lashley said. “I am still under contract at Bellator also, and if I go back I will give them a call and possibly go after (Ryan) Bader. I don’t want to wait too long, time is ticking.”

“I feel great. My body is 100% so I think maybe this summer, maybe after SummerSlam.”

We will have to wait and see what Bobby Lashley decides to do. WWE has supported Brock Lesnar in his UFC efforts while remaining under contract so they very well could offer Bobby Lashley the same kind of deal. It certainly sounds like he isn’t done in the cage at this point.
