Vampiro has made a big impression on a lot of pro wrestling fans and our thoughts are certainly with him during this time. Because he recently revealed via a Facebook video that he was just diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.

He has faith that he will win against this awful disease. He has an attitude to fight and carry on. Vampiro was quite passionate in his video along with writing which said in part:

“Got some results from the doctor yesterday
Not the best of news

But in my heart I know it’s a fight I am gonna win

I am not worried about anything

I am worried about how I can give more back to everyone who needs support

I Don’t give a f*ck about being sick , as me and my doctors have a plan! And I will be fine!

Alzheimer’s is bullsh*t. I am scared about potential Parkinson’s disease because it might f*ck up my PlayStation time

I have been beaten up for so long , this is an easy one

Also

Look at the news of the world

So much Bullsh*t going down

Just do what’s right and be cool to everyone

Don’t get involved in the stupid sh*t

Not worth it

Be safe y’all and talk soon”

We send our best wishes to Vampiro as he fights this horrible disease.”

Vampiro said it is so different when you actually see the injuries. He has some serious brain trauma due to multiple concussions. He grew up in hard-hitting sports such as hockey and eventually pro wrestling. He said aging is driving him crazy and he is embarrassed because he can’t lift 10 pounds in the gym.

He also said there are “f*cking monstrous cool things about to go down” as well.

There are medical breakthroughs everyday we are hoping that one comes through for Vampiro. Until then, send out your best for the legendary wrestler. This is terrible news to get at 51-years-old.
