All Elite Wrestling is moving forward with their plan to become a full-fledged pro wrestling company. They hired Jim Ross for commentary and now they need to ink a television contract.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter confirmed that AEW does have a deal on the table from Turner Sports which could see the new show ending up on TNT. However, that is not the only deal that the company is flirting with either.

At press time, no deal has been signed, but the story of TNT being a possible home for an AEW television deal has credence. At last report, there was a deal from within the Turner group and a second proposal from another group on the table.

Turner Sports reportedly plans on introducing AEW as part of their programming at next month’s advertiser upfronts. Therefore, you never know if that deal could be further along than anything else currently on the table for AEW. It seems like there are a couple of options for The Elite so they can choose the deal that fits them best.
